Advantages: None I have found Disadvantages: Expensive, smelly and doesn't work
Why am I still so gullible as to believe the hype around all these over-priced beauty creams/gels? They promise me fewer wrinkles in 28 days, younger looking skin, reduced puffiness, reduced dark circles and/or a whole new me. Instead I usually end up with a huge dent in my bank account and feeling bitter that I have been conned yet again.
So from that whinging opening and the title of this opinion, you may have guessed that I was not impressed with this product. Strangely enough it has been recommend on Ciao by another member as really working (opinion listed under the eye lifting gel), so perhaps it is just my strange skin!

AGGGHHHHH PESKY WRINKLES
------------------------
Don't be put off by the weird name on the box - protientlift! As you get beyond your twenties (infact earlier still in most cases) the first signs of aging seems to usually start in the eye area, especially if you've been naughty and sunbathing or smoking!! So now you spend all your time trying to find a miracle product. Being in the 40+ age bracket my hunt for a good eye product became very focused!! (sorry about the pun!). It seems that if you don't address the first signs of wrinkles by getting moisture back into your skin the little blighters become crevices!!

I've found ROC (based in France)to be generally good products and my eye was caught by a display of new products in Boots. The box said that it would visibly lift the skin and reduce dark ...
Advantages: Light, easily absorbed serum Disadvantages: You smell like a stale and, ever so slightly rancid, coffee machine after use.
Big heading If you can get past the smell...
Small heading The details

The serum was light and had a good texture but, on first opening, it also had a very strange smell. I thought that might go away with wear - and so tried it. I'm afraid the smell stayed. The scent was of oddly stale coffee. I tried it three times - and on the last two times - washed it off. Thus rather missing the point of using a serum...
So awful was the scent, that I sent back the product to the manufacturers in case something had happened in the manufacture. I wait to hear.
No matter how effective a product is, if you can't abide the smell - then it is useless. Sad because ...
