I needed to replace my high street brand of serum [No 7] and have used ROC products in the past - to good effect. I saw the RetinOXserum advertised and tried it.
The serum was light and had a good texture but, on first opening, it also had a very strange smell. I thought that might go away with wear - and so tried it. I'm afraid the smell stayed. The scent was of oddly stale coffee. I tried it three times - and on the last two times - washed it off. Thus rather missing the point of using a serum...
So awful was the scent, that I sent back the product to the manufacturers in case something had happened in the manufacture. I wait to hear.
No matter how effective a product is, if you can't abide the smell - then it is useless. Sad because ...

This is a great product. The serum is alot easier to use than any other moisturiser that I have used. It does not leave the skin feeling 'thick' and 'greasy'. The serum feels very light, and is easy to apply, and is great to gently apply to the delicate eye area. After a short time of everyday use, lines and wrinkles, are not so pronounced - obviously, they are not taken away completely!! My skin feels soft and supple for the whole day after using the serum, and , it also easy to apply foundations and makeup over the top of it. Before I started using it, I was worried about lines around my eyes and forehead, and also the dryness of my skin. This product really has helped, and it has also balanced out my skins texture, so no more dry areas! I will certainly continue to buy this product, especially at it great price. ...

The important thing about RoCRetin-Ox Correctiom (in fact, all RoC products) is perseverence. No one should reasonably expect instant results, but we do unfortunately live in a society where instant gratification is not soon enough.
I have been using this particular RoC product, along with the rest of the face care range, for over 5 years and I will never consider using another product.
It took about 3 months before I began to notice some improvements and it has without doubt not only slowed down the wrinkly process that is inevitable with age, it has improved my skin. My sister lives in Australia and I see her once a year. On her last visit she was convinced I had had a face lift since last seeing her (she is unable to buy Roc in Oz so I post it to her).
