Advantages: Easy to use Disadvantages: some may want battery life to last longer
I have always wanted a Satellite Navigation (SatNav) device simply because I drive a lot and I am forever getting lost on my route.
I have been searching for a decent SatNav for a long time now, and up until recently the same one has been recommended to me time and time again from people I work with or know. This is the RoadAngel Navigator.
I brought this nifty gadget last week, and I am very please with it.

a small usb connector on the side that you can also use to update the software (maps etc) online should you need to. i have found that some of the motorola chargers are compatible for using as a car charger for example the motorola l3 charger is a perfect companion
All in all i find that the roadangel navigator 6000 is a good buy if you are not interested in having the most modern and up to date GPS system available and it does the job just as good as many others that are newer and aparently improved! ...

Now the older style detectors would only tell you a direct hit from a laser or a radar signal from a Gatso. The rest of the cameras? you might as well not even have your detector.
However, with the RoadAngel it is worth it. Basically the way the unit works - it knows where you are and it knows where the cameras are (via GPS). This means that as soon as your going towards a camera it will alert you - the screen flashes bright red and you also get a beep to warn you it's been triggered.
