Last year I welcomed a new addition to my little family, and that was a tiny grey kitten called Cleo who was just 7 weeks old. I knew that I would have to take her to the vets to be checked out and I didn't really fancy taking her in a cardboard box as I thought I might have to seeing as all the cat carriers I had previously seen were around the £20 to £25 mark. A week before the date I was due to pick up the kitten, my friend and I took a ride out to Pets At Home as she needed things for her pet hamster and I thought that I would pick up a few bits for our new arrival. After picking up a few ... more

Up until recently, Harry's kitten Magic has been an indoor cat and we've not really had a need to take him outdoors much. However, because he's getting older and more mature, he was starting to have certain "animal urges" and was consequently getting a little mad around the house. We decided to make the choice to get him castrated, and quickly booked the appointment before we changed our minds. Road runner pet carrier Cats are a completely different type of animal to have than say a dog. Where a dog is able to go on its lead and accompany you place this is not possible with a cat. For this reason a good carrier is an essential item to have for any cat owner as it will be needed time and time again whether it is for taking the cat to the vet or on an overnight stay they will need to be put in something for the duration of the journey. I have a carrier made by road runner and it was bought at pets at home for £11.99. For the price what you get is basically two pieces of plastic that ... more

Advantages Advantages easy catches to use, lightweight and small enough to store away when not in use

Disadvantages Disadvantages none that I have found

I recently purchased one of these for my new kitten from Pets at Home . Since bringing him home in it I can honestly say we both love it. I leave ot on the floor for him to play in and he loves it. The catches on the door are easy to use which is the reason why I purchased it. I tried several different makes in store and found this was the best.I thought about spending more as they say that the more you spend you get more for your money but I don't believe it true in this case.It is enough to easily store away if i need to and light enough to carry when he is in it. In my opinion this is the ... more
