I did try looking in the manual (mine was version 2), but that referred to a microphone setup page which didn't exist.
After speaking to a Roadstar/Alba support person, who said I had a faulty unit, I took it back to Argos. However they had discontinued the player, so I got my £90 back. Actually I was pleased, as I had seen that you could get it for £50 direct from the Roadstar website. So I ordered another one from Roadstar.

...With the uncertain future of Beenz.com I decided to cash in my hard earn Beenz last month. I got the Choice Vouchers (Argos, Index etc) and within two weeks these vouchers were burning a whole in my pocket..I wanted to spend them.
I have wanted an in-car cd player for a while now, so had a look in the Argos book to see what they had. To my surprise they stocked a car cd player for £59.99. It was a Roadstar CD-773RD/FM 20watt speaker CD player; basic but would do the job. I had £50 in vouchers so I would only have to put £10 towards it. So off I went to Argos to purchase my new toy. When I gave the assistant my order form she informed me that they no longer had that cd player but were selling a replacement one for the same price. Ok, I’ll have it!
My thinking was that if it wasn’t as good as the one advertised...

I tried various pedals in order to get one that wold detune my guitar for me as i have a guitar that takes months to detune. This pedal stood out as far the best with most functions and best sound, but u pay for what you get. It have a nice function... more
