if you buy any of the roberts revival radios you are definately buying for the look, as the actual radios are pretty basic. they have the usual 3 bands, headphone socket and mains adapter, but that is it. the batteries for this one are aa batteries, and it takes four which dont last very long so i only ever use mine on mains electric. the sound is as you'd expect, pretty standard, but other than that it looks great so who cares?! the back compartment is easy to get into, and everything about it is really easy to use. i would recommend it, but only as a fashion accessory.
