...; however, this may be a quirk of DAB in general rather than the Radio itself. * Sound Levels on the DAB Digital Tuner seem to vary - however, again this may be a quirk of DAB in general rather than the Radio itself. * There is no Clock, Alarm Clock or "Automatic Switch Off" feature - which means it is virtually useless as a bedside radio! * There appears to be no external aerial feature. * The internal mains adapter makes an unusually loud 'hummmmm' when connected to the mains!! To summarise - the Roberts RD3 may be the latest technology & may have cost £140, but I still prefer to use my trusty old Roberts R9906 Analogue model costing £50 !!!!... Read review

Advantages: slinky, cheap, sassy
Disadvantages: dodgy reception at times

...than a fag packet,, and will slip into your standard shirt pocket, that’s the one on the left, no right , no left I was right the first time, it’s the pocket they put on your shirt to keep a handkerchief in, in case you need to blow your nose, if you get hay fever or something, in the summer, when the crickets on, and your listening to your radio, the Roberts Sportsman. If you are a lady and do not have a top shirt pocket, fear not, this little chap comes complete with a little detachable belt clip, you can clip it somewhere about your person, or put it in your handbag and have the wires coming out, or something, you figure it out. I’ve become increasingly wary of using mine, that’s if I ever find it again, and it really isn’t inside the dog, I’ll tell you why.
