    Advantages Advantages A refreshing drink

    It was one of those glorious and rare sunny days, with the sun beams bouncing around on the dull concrete and bringing everything to life. Yes that included me. It made me get out of bed and want to soak in the phenomenon that was a day of sunshine in the middle of July! Yes! July in sunny Stoke had a day of glorious sunshine! Well as I lazed around in the garden soaking up the glorious rays of UV, in a style reminiscent of the Sunny D ads my mother came out armed with drinks.     Advantages Advantages It tastes like pears, there is a no added sugar version

    Disadvantages Disadvantages can be expensive.

    Robinsons Barley Water, I used to hate it as a kid. I associated it will being ill as this was the only time my Mother bought it along with big bottles of Lucozade. We always had the Orange flavour which way back in the dark ages was probably the only flavour available. Now however there are all sorts of wonderful flavours of the stuff, I have noticed peach, pink grapefruit and my favorite PEAR! The pear flavour is sort of a cloudy nondecript colour, pretty much like the inside of a pear funnily enough.     Tired of the usual Carbonated drinks and looking for something that would not only have flavour but also be refreshing I stumbled across ROBINSON'S FRUIT and BARLEY. Wow ! A real taste bud popper with a fabulous fruity tongue curling momment. The flavour of Apple and pear is hinted at , the freshness of the flavours maturing as they dance over the tastebuds towards the back of the tongue . I had stored the concentrate in the fridge along side a bottle of standard diet Lemonade. Putting the two together in a long tall glass was a Marriage made in heaven " in my opinion.
