Robinsons Orange Squash with No Added Sugar

I like to drink squash on a regular basis because it is a change from tea or coffee and even water. It quenches my thirst perfectly and there are such a lot of different flavours around at the moment it can be quite hard to choose which one to buy. I always like to have Orange flavour handy at home most of the time because it is one that I really like to drink.

This one comes in a transparent bottle with a screw off top. It has a label on the front which just gives the name of it and so is very clear to spot on a shelf. This one has no added sugar. It contains no artificial colours or flavours but it does contains artificial sweeteners but is does contain naturally occurring sugars. The squash is also concentrated.

The bottle size I bought was 1 litre and I paid just a £1 for it and so a good price in my opinion for this amount in the bottle. The colour is a nice bright orange colour and does not look dirty inside the bottle as I have found some other brands to look. It is always best to shake the bottle before pouring a small amount into a glass or beaker so that the tiny bits of orange at the bottom of the bottle are mixed in the squash and so the squash has the full taste when diluted. As I said it is a dilute drink and so cold water can be added and it depends on how strong a drink you like as to how much you pour into the beaker. I personally like my drink quite strong and so I pour a larger amount into my glass but for my little grandson, I pour a smaller amount into his cup and then just add more water.

This drink tastes really nice, it has a very strong taste of the orange and tastes as it should. It is not a bitter taste or sour, it is just a really nice pleasant taste. It is nice with a couple of ice cubes added in the summer months too, these just help to make it a little colder as we all know only too well. I think it is ideal for parties and I buy it regularly for the parties I have at my home on a regular basis and my guests love it.

Because it does no contain any added sugar it is a low calorie drink and so if you like me like to drink a lot of juice it will not pile on the calories as a added sugar drink would. It contains per 250ml serving, 4 calories, 0.3g of sugar, a trace of fat and no saturates or salt. So the calorie content is really good with this drink and with no salt it means it is more healthier.

I like to sometimes make up a large amount and leave it in my fridge to drink during the day, it is then nice and cold and is there for whenever I fancy a drink of orange.

It is a good family drink and worth the money. I think if you have a lot of children it is so affordable because only a small amount is needed to top up with water for all the family to enjoy. It is excellent value for money and very good quality.

This bottle size is designed to serve 20 drinks. Such a lot of drinks for the price in my opinion and the bottle does last a long time. The bottle also has a sturdy base and so it does not tip over.

This drink quenches the thirst perfectly and is very refreshing, the smell of the oranges is very apparent as soon as the top is removed too. It smells really nice and fresh. It is also suitable for vegetarians.

It does however have a best before date and so it is always wise to check this date if you have stored it for a while in a cupboard etc.

I highly do recommend this one for anyone to give it a go because it is a really nice tasty drink and I will continue to buy it in the future because it gives me all the taste that I expect from a branded orange squash.

The bottle is also recyclable too.
