Robitussin Chesty Cough Medicine

Coming in a 100 ml bottle, this cough medicine made my most recent of coughs go in about a day. Robitussin isn't actually as bad as it sounds, although the taste is just like other such medicines - horrible at first, but it gets better the more that you take it!

Costing around the £3 mark from the pharmacy counter at my local Morrisons, this comes with a special cap that is used for measuring the medicine out and taking it with. As already noted, this particular medicine comes in a 100 ml bottle and the directions for use are that it is to be taken as ten mls four times a day.

And so therefore if you are a good mathematician, you will realise that this will actually in fact equate to forty mls a day. And what it being in a bottle that only holds 100 mls, you will then also realise that this will be gone in two and a half days if you are taking the medicine as stated.

But in all fairness you may not need to even use this medicine past the first day and a half, as it is a medicine that exceeds what it says that it will do. In other words it says that it will effectively clear up your nasty chesty cough, but even I didn't expect mine to be gone quite so quick as that!

I guess that a medicine that costs about £3 for only a day's use could be classed as being a lot of money being spent, but in my own opinion it is money that is very well spent indeed. After all, what would you rather - being kept awake all night with a cough and taking a medicine that doesn't really work, or spend out just a little bit more for one that will do everyone around you a favour?

It can be bought in any good chemist that has got a pharmacy counter, as I do believe that a pharmacist needs to be present in the general vicinity of the till area when it is sold (as are many things in chemists these days). But it will be worth you spending out that little bit of extra money on, to get better quick.

What is also good about this particular medicine, is that there are no side effects - or if there are, then they will only be really very rare indeed. So what are you waiting for?
