Xenical is also known as orlistat. It is manufactured by Roche.
Each tablet is a little green capsule. It is made by Roche and is usually prescribed in 28 day doses. You take three tablets a day, one with each meal, although they do say that there is no need to take it if there is no fat in the meal, for example, if you eat an apple for breakfast then there is no need to take it.
You take the tablet with your meal, or up to an hour before or after you have eaten.

Advantages: It really does work Disadvantages: runny stools
After having 5 children in 7 years the weight just kept being put on. At the age of 17 I was 8 stone then I got pregnant one after another and by the time I was 24 I was 17 stone in weight. Finally doctors are giving out slimmingpills again to those who need it. To be prescribed xenical you have to be clinically obese which your doctor can tell you when he weighs you. Then you have to prove to your doctor you are commited to slimming by losing 5 pounds on your own in a few weeks.
Each box contains a month supply and are given one box per prescription of 120mg. There are enough pills to take three a day (one with every meal)the pills are in the form of capsules and are blue. What the pills actually do is stop your body from absorbing fat from anything you eat. You can take each pill before you eat and up to an hour after and it will still work.
