Advantages Lovely smell, nice texture, does what it claims to do!

Disadvantages VERY expensive!

I was lucky enough to get picked for a panel of mums to try out some tummy toning products for one of the famous Parenting magazines earlier this year. The options were a diet, exercise or this cream, and luckily for me, I got to use the cream! I didn't actually know what cream it was, so I went into with an open mind...until my curiosity got the better of me! I found the cream was made by Rodial and that it was rather expensive....£100 a bottle! So I began to use it and carried on doing so for 4 weeks. So here goes my review.

Rodial is a company which uses the best of nature's ingredients in order to make wonder creams and treatments which claim to make drastic changes to your body when you use them regularly. Apparently Rodial uses Pomegranate Ellagic Tannin in all of their products, as this is an anti-ageing firming product with collagen boosters in it. Their slogan is "Nature-Science-Skincare".

After having a browse through their website, I could see that they offered many different products for different areas of your bodies, and each of them did a different thing as well. The main categories of products available are skincare, which is mainly products for the face, Bodycare for all areas of the body and Suncare. The products are not cheap, in fact some of the most expensive I have seen in a while!

Now to this product. This is called "Tummy Tuck" and its aim is to help flatten and visibly tighten the stomach area. Obviously after having had a baby, my stomach is not as flat and firm as it used to be and despite losing all my baby weight, I haven't been able to regain much tone on my tummy, despite the 150 sit-ups I do a day! So when I read what this product claimed to do, I was quite intrigued and was really curious to see if it would actually make a difference on my "mummy-tummy".

The product comes in a sleek white plastic bottle, which contains 100ml of the product. It has a pump dispenser which allows for easy use of the product, and makes it stay nice and clean as well. It also has a clear plastic lid as well to keep it safe so the pump can't get pushed accidentally (very handy for me around Harry the thief!). The bottle has the Rodial name and logo on, with the product name in the burgundy writing. It has a sophisticated look about it, and is very designer-looking. And so it should be for the price lol!

Now, according to their website, this product contains "stomach-flattening microfibres" which help tighten and firm up the abdominal area. It can apparently help reduce the tummy area by 2cm in just 8 weeks, pretty amazing claims for a cream! This also contains "fig extract and neuropeptides which break down fatty cells and boost cell metabolism". I had no ideas what Neuropeptides are and I found this good definition through Google:
"These active little messengers in the brain actually turn on cellular function in the skin." So apparently they do actually help with the cell metabolism, which is quite good!

The cream itself is a dark yellow colour, and with a gel consistency.

I suppose it is far cheaper than having an actual tummy tuck
