Roger Federer

Advantages: Great Forehand, Simple Game and Consistent
Disadvantages: None

Well. Where do you start? Roger Federer has the potential to be the Pele of tennis. He may become the greatest ever player to hold a tennis racket. He already has three Grand Slam titles to his name and in the future he should add many more.

Roger Federer is a rather unique tennis player. In many ways, his game and style of play is so simple, which makes mistakes minimal and makes succes at the highest level much easier. However, his ...
...what I have seen of Roger Federer so far, he comes across very well. He seems very polite both on and off the court. He conducts himself well and seems keen to participate in media activities. He isn't overly cocky about his talent and abilities as a tennis player and appreciates his opponents. He also said that he thinks Tim Henman still has a chance of winning Wimbledon, if he continues in the form he is in. He is the sort of player that young ... more

One of tennis's best players in tennis history!

Advantages: very entertaining player to watch, top class tennis
Disadvantages: he usually wins most matches so it may take something from the match

...1998 he won the junior wimbled on title and another highly rated ITF world junior championship tournament. This led to him being crowned ITF W/orld junior tennis champion of this ye/ar. Federer has been an amazing player for a number of years now. The only grand slam he has failed ...

Third time lucky to get to the final

Advantages: good player
Disadvantages: not won a single grand slam

also on top o his game, he eventually won 7-5 7-6 2-6 7-6, knocking out Roger Federer who had done so well in the previous round. Tim Henman did reach the semi finals in 1998 and 1999 but he failed to get to the finals, so I hope it’s third time lucky for Tim, who is hoping to win his first grand slam at the age o 26. I hope Tim goes further than he has done in the previous Wimbledon’s one thing or certain is that the country will be behind him. Good luck Tim, change the record and reach the final! ...

Review of Tim Henman (GBR)

Tim,So Near Yet So Far

Advantages: Hugely talented. Agile. Nice,self-effacing personality
Disadvantages: Might lack the killer instinct

. Still no disgrace for the talented American blew away a lot of fine players during his assault on Wimbledon titles during that decade. It is widely acknowledged that Tim is hugely talented. OK he dosent have the most powerful serve in the world but is a good serve and volleyer, He has a wide range of strokes and is mobile, quick thinking and made for grass. Indeed, with the defeat of Pete Samprass by the young Swiss player, Roger Federer, the pundits were saying 2001 is Tim's year. No less a personage than John McEnroe endorsed that view. Tim had tough matches against the American veteran Todd Martin and Pete's conqueror,Roger Federer, but came safely through. Surely, said the pundits he would beat the wild card entry. Yes Goran had been a great player but after injuries,a period of self doubt, etc, had slipped down the rankings to 125 ...

Review of Tim Henman (GBR)

Henman Hill? No, Murray Mound is where it's at.

Advantages: Better than Henman Hill, that's for sure.
Disadvantages: A talented scot who unfortunately gets really cocky.

on Wimbledon - but the question now is, can he beat the almost legendary Roger Federer, the new Pete Sampras? Who knows. What we DO know is, we've finally found a brit who can take a damn good shot at winning. ...
