Dartz have come a long way in the past few years. This Is My Ship, their debut album, mixes catchy indie riffs with hand claps and even a bit of saxophone thrown in the mix occasionally...
Their older songs are the ones to look out for, and although they've padded them out a bit which can get quite weary at times; songs like Laser Eyes, Prego Triangolos and Once, Twice, Again! show that Dartz are a band to really look out for.
Their live performance is brilliant and you may feel you're lacking something if you've heard songs both live and on CD, but you'll find yourself singing along to the nonsensical but nonetheless brilliantly fun lines like 'you have three sides but you're not a triangle...you are a square!'
The entire album is very an enjoyable experience and there is not one song which i would skip when I put it in my CD player ...
