    5 Stars Roces - Street 06/08/2000
    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Great bargain, good for beginners / improvers

Disadvantages Disadvantages Availability, no H-Block on early models

These were my first pair of aggressive inline skates with which i learnt quite alot of grinds, spins and grabs. I purchased the '97 editions, but there are very few difference between these and the more recent models (possibly a H-block for improved grinding, and more colours available). About 3 years ago, i bought these skates for £140, and in those days, they were well worth it, being the second best pair roces produced. I recently purchased a pair of rollerblades and they are good quality at a very reasonable price .Rollerblading is an extremely active sport which is even more fun doing with your mates .There is a large variety of things you can do on them .You can skate backwards, forwards and there are loads of tricks to try and it is easy enough to make up your own .As rollerblading is such an active sport it keeps you very fit and it is fun at the same time .Also like many other sports you don't have to go to special venues to rollerblade .You can do it up your garden path, along the pavements, through ... more

Advantages Advantages Better colours and larger sole space than '98 editions

Disadvantages Disadvantages Slightly outdated with the release of newer models

While Roces seem to bring out a newer version of each of their skates once a year, this is one of the only newer versions which I think are worth the extra money. Roces have always been a reputable skate manufacturer, and the sheer popularity of the original 5th Elements would take some beating. Okay these were not as popular as the original 5th elements, probably because they were not as groundbreaking, remember they are only an improvement on the original skates, not a completely new pair. The improvements were as follows: 1: A larger negative and positive sole area (the biggest available at ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Heavy,Slow sole space,No grind plates,Slow bearings

The Razor Flats are a hard boot aggressive skate that have helped me skate for about a year now. When I first started skating I was just going round in circles and falling over allot but recently I started aggressive stating and this sport has ruled my life since then. To aggressive skate you need aggressive skates that have things that normal (wreck) skates don’t have like grind plates and royale plates. Aggressive skating is a popular sport that involves many different skills that put together to do things like grinds and big airs. The razor flats are mainly made for vert this is why bought ... more
