Advantages: Light hearted with Steel's romantic edge
Disadvantages: It's not a weepy!

...predictable I must say. At the beginning of her stories somebody breaks up with somebody else and there are always morbidly depressed for the next 10 chapters. For instance, in Palimino, the guy breaks up with the girl as he feels inferior to her. I often find this very heavy as I am only a teenager. I have been brought up to think that marriages are forever and will last forever even though I see the statistics stating that 1 in 3 marriages end ...
...I opened this book and the guy leaves the girl, I groaned. Not another sob story, but I decidided to read on anyway. Basically, Stephanie blames herself for the split, thinking that her old flannel nighties and hairy legs did the trick but really, her husband has found a big busted, skinny blond.
