A fairly interesting book
Review of Sunset in St Tropez - Danielle Steel by coquinnette

Advantages: is read quickly.
Disadvantages: it makes fun much of France, it is wearying !

...; The ghost …. Sunset in St Tropez ☺ ♥ ☺ ♥ ☺ ♥ ☺ ♥ ☺ The price is £7.69. The history is as follows : It is the history of three couples of friends who know each other since many years : Diana and Eric Morrisson ; Anne and Robert Smith ; Pascale and John Donnaly. They celebrate New Year's day all together and like to go on journeys. Pascale is French, and they decide all to rent a villa with ...
...there was in America to write this book. Rather disappointing like behaviour. Because of all the remarks made against French I do not advise you this book. Certain books of Danielle steel are really more interesting than this Sunset in St Tropez. Thank you to have read me ... Read review

Not quite the stomping thoroughbreds of old...
Review of Second Chance - Danielle Steel by staceyvm

Advantages: A return to good form for Danielle Steel
Disadvantages: Contrived perhaps?

...previous form shows through and Second Chance (while no 'Message from Nam' or Palomino') is one of those titles. The story centres around Fiona Monaghan, a hot shot editor of a New York magazine. She is strong, confident and her own woman, which is why she is unmarried and happy about into her late 30's. She leads a bohemian lifestyle with her pet bulldog and a houseboy who borrows her clothes and does not have any desire to form a relationship. ...
...walks into her office and catches her eye. the two quickly become close and after a week in Paris for fashion week they are moving in together and Fiona is grudgingly making space in her designer-stuffed closets. After a disastrous meeting with John's daughters and a spoiled partners dinner, Fiona and John see that their relationship is not as easy as they had hoped and see no other way than to go their separate ways. A devastated Fiona gives up ... Read review

Review of For All Our Tomorrows - Freda Lightfoot by sarahbarrow

Advantages: A great romance, thriller, comedy, tragedy.............
Disadvantages: None!!!

...deemed as the perfect camp for all military personnel due to the fact it is the most thought of place for an invasion by the Germans and their associates. The story is told from the perspective of two sisters, the first is Bette Tredinnick who is the younger of the two. Footloose and fancy free, she is woman who considers herself completely in control of her emotions, knowing she will marry to the best of her ability, and in doing so securing herself ...

Everything was to change upon the arrival of the American's, when they descend upon Fowey they are treated as hero's, bearing in mind most of the newcomers have barely seen combat and are waiting there for further instructions. Within minutes of the marines parading through the town, Bette secured herself a date with ... Read review

Miss You Forever - Josephine Cox
Review of Miss you Forever - Josephine Cox by booeze123

Advantages: A Real Page-Turner
Disadvantages: None

I read this book , Miss You Forever, in a day, why? Simply because I wanted to know what happened to the characters that made this page turner such a great read. The book starts with the heroine Kathleen being taunted by thugs because she looks like a vagabond, but there's so much more to Kathleen and the life she has led up to this point. After being followed to a "coal-hole" where she decides to sleep for the night, Kathleen is beaten by the same ...
...kind-hearted nurse, called Rosie. Rosie is entrusted with the only thing of value to Kathleen, her diaries. It is through Rosie reading the diaries, whilst caring for Kathleen in hospital that we learn of Kathleen's family history and life. The diaries we go on a turbulent journey filled with fear, heartache, tenderness, loss and of course, love. In 1855 kathleen was a child growing up in Blackburn, with her brother Adam, afraid of her father. After ... Read review

Curves in All the Right Places
Review of Curvaceous - Victoria Blisse by Soho_Black

Advantages: A wonderful combination of romance and erotica
Disadvantages: A bit expensive to take a chance on

Being friends with an aspiring author can be an interesting experience. You get to act as their main cheerleader through the writing process, keep them going through the less interesting part of editing and can share the highs if they are good enough or lucky enough (or both!) to get published. Maybe if you're a close enough friend, you get a personalised signed copy. Of course, you're then obliged to read the book which, in this case, caused a ...
...is a writer of erotic fiction, which isn't a genre I've ever had any real desire to read before now, nor one with any great appeal, regardless of who has written it. Sometimes, friendship can be a demanding mistress, but it does have its rewards. Ms Blisse, as I insist on calling her, much to her amusement, has been a published author for some time, having had quite a few E-Books and stories published by. "Curvaceous", however, marks the first time ... Read review
