M & S Lambrusco

Advantages: The "Real Thing"

I have read the reviews on this site about "Lambrusco" and I regret to say that the stuff all these refer to (at around £1.99 a bottle) is a disgrace to the name Lambrusco. Lambrusco has long been my favourite wine, but some years ago it vanished from the shops to be replaced by the muck that is now widely available under that name. There were a couple of independent wine merchants who could still provide the "proper" stuff but only by the crate. ...
...were going to stock Lambrusco again - at £7.49 a bottle. I tried half the M & S stores on the planet without success. Today I hit the jackpot ! Review of Tesco Lambrusco Rosé Light

You wont get a nicer wine for 2 pond newts !!

Advantages: It is so cheap and delicious.
Disadvantages: Not enough Asda's in the South West that I can get to .

WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR ? ~~~~ The clear glass bottle has a white label on the front with a picture of a green Lambretta type scooter at the top of the label and the words ' Seven Hills White ' in large print ...
...and it is in a 75cl bottle..... You will see that the wine is bottled by Cantina Del Bacco 39040 Ora Italy and then the surprise wording is ASDA SMART PRICE !! ( I WILL GET TO THE PRICE IN A MOMENT) The label on the back of the bottle describes the wine as a refreshingly fruity, crisp white wine which they say is suitable on its own or with fried fish or salad ..... HERE THEY LIE !!! it is suitable with darn well everything from a bag of Maynards ...

Review of Seven Hills Vino Da Tavola

Nuts to them

Advantages: Love the chocolate
Disadvantages: Too many nut ones

I have to be honest Cadbury's Roses are not my favourite choice of chocolates, on the plus side you do get to eat lovely Cadbury milk chocolate which is my favourite but for me I do not eat nuts, not an allergy thing more a taste thing, I do not mind the coconut in Bounty Bars but I do not like the hard solid nuts and there are a few nut chocolates in Roses hence this is a waste for me. The good news is there is plenty of variety with Roses so there ...
...open. Roses come in a variety of container sizes to suit all budgets and party sizes although to be honest it is Christmas when I tend to see these in the office most often. My favourites are the caramel and toffee based chocolates, the caramel barrel is probably my first choice as it is full of goey caramel and lovely milk chocolate shell.
