I have been gradually gaining weight for about ten years. At a size 18-20 on my lower half I was a bit depressed at my appearance. I have tried to diet by myself but I always chuck it in after one too many packets of crisps that have tempted me. , the worst part is getting on the scales in front of people. What you have to remember, the leaders aren't there to judge but to motivate you. Believe me, although you think no one has ever weighed more than you....there is always some one bigger!!!
Although unlike Weightwatchers etc the discussion part of the class is quite short. If you need the diet advice, don't know what to eat, need lots of guidance then perhaps RC isn't for you. However, i will state that the leaders tend to talk to you at the scales personally and ask if you have problems and there is always the time after class, aswell as talking to other people in the class whilst you wait for the exercising to begin.

quite a good advert for her diet plans! The moves in this section are quite basic, to a nice latin-ey sounding track. This lasts for 20 minutes, including both a warm-up and a cool-down, and although it is the level 1 workout, I did feel like I had done exercise after completing it.
The next section, which is Level 2, is called Let's Salsacise. This section is much more energetic, and you will also need a basic understanding of all the steps in Salsa to do this. I didn't do this section until I had done the previous section a few times so that I knew the steps and could confidently pull them off. This workout also lasts for 20 minutes but the pace is much quicker, and Rosemary works you a lot harder in this section.
