Review of Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54GL - wireless router by spiralzskaterz

Advantages: reliable most of the time, great speed, no lag, fast connection
Disadvantages: Some Breaks...

I had gotton this router a few years ago, and i have to say, i would choose no other router than linksys. The speed is outstanding, and no lag what so ever. I used this on two computers at home, and showed no sign of slowing down what so ever. I would recomend this product to anyone who needs to put 4 or less computers on a wireless network for cheap, BUT reliable service. The tech support on these is amazing. Be aware that they do not last forever, ... Read review

Solid and reliable router thats quick
Review of NETGEAR RangeMax Next Wireless Router –Gigabit Edition WNR854T - wireless router by Babboon

Advantages: fast connection by wireless or wire, reliable
Disadvantages: not as cheap as some but worth it, ignore quick setup

...which compared to my old Netgear wgt634u which was aweful for needing rebooting after it lost connection to my pc. Wi-fi coverage hasn't let me down where I have used it. Overall it doing a good job without me needing to do anything to it, as it should be just connect it to the modem and pc and leave it alone without the hassle of constantly having to worry about it overheating or having some connection issue. I got mine from Dabs, who as always ... Read review

It tastes yummy if you're a rug rat
Review of D-Link RangeBooster N 650 Router DIR-635 - wireless router by sadoldbag

Advantages: Fast, good range, powerful, not too expensive for what you get
Disadvantages: none so far

This is a wireless network router whih you can use with either a cable modem or a DSL modem. I've owned mine for ages - it orginally cost me £76 and, though that's quite a lot compared to some routers, this one is really powerful and I guess you get what you pay for. This router doesn't come with a modem, as with most of them, but, like the majority of ISPs I suspect, mine supplied me with one as part of the subscription. The signal is perfect all ...
...bars out of five on the display on my laptop. This is despite the fact that the router is unhelpfully located in the study which seemd logical but is in fact right at one end of the house, so it's impressive that we are still getting signal right at the other end above the garage. The router is very fast too; I'm really pleased with as well: I can download a half-hour TV programme from 4OD in about a minute, and my teenage son can play on-line games ... Read review

is the Belkin N1 worth the extra cash
Review of Belkin N1 Wireless Modem Router - wireless router by regmigrant

Advantages: Extended range, capable of streaming HD video (mostly)
Disadvantages: Susceptible to interference, needs matching adapters

...to losing connections than other Belkin routers I've used - any local microwave, dect phone, or next doors wireless router can bring your connection down and though reconnection is usually instant it does occasionally require a reboot of the pc or the router (or both). Overall i don't think its worth the price premium over others in the range unless the additional signal strength and distant is vital to your requirements. Its certainly not something ...
