Ive had the Rover from brand new since last july . The car is superb to look at and excellent to drive, however the build quality leaves a lot to be desired . The car is less than a year old and the following faults have occured 1.The plastic door plate has broken
2.the plastic seat belt retainer on the rear seat has come away
3.The electric motor on the passenger seat has broken this apart the car is excellent to drive and is fully loaded with accesories ,including an electric rear sunblind It has cruise control fitted which is easy to use - (very handy with all the police cashpoints s now fouling up our streets) the cruise control has an alarm fitted so if you go above the set speed ,which you set to whatever you wish , it gives an audible warnig the Rover has a handy armrest in the centre for you cds or cassettes and a small stowage area for bits and pieces in the rear armrest . It Has an onboard computer which tells you average fuel consumption - how many miles you have left to go how many miles you have done etc this is easily accessed from the Steering coulmn. The one drawback I find is that the car has no rear windscreen wiper, which is no big deal really but as most of my previous cars have had this facility I find that I miss it . The car starts perfectly every time and on cold days and the heated electric seats do th job of warming you up.the extrior finish is very good and the car turns heads ,it is a really good looking motor. The Rover has an excellent climate control system with the temperature adjustable indedendantly for driver and passenger and also has a vent facing the rear seats which only blows cold air good for your passengers in the summer but not so good in the winter There is plenty of space for adults in the rear and front with plenty of adjustment on the electric seats and steering column has up dow / in out adjustment The fold down seats are handy for those trips to B & Q the key operated seat memory thing is handy if more than one driver uses the car - just remember to give your other half a guided tour around the car and explain what the fuel filler cap is for The Entertainment system is good and hold 6 cds all controled from the steering column Mine is finished in Gold with cream leather seats Lovely wood effect retro dash with cream coloured dials which harks back to a bygone era Fuel consumption averages between 40 - 46 mpg I cannot stress what a superb motor this is for sheer comfort and its a pleasure to drive the comfort level and ride quality is superb if anyone has any questions feel free to ask Ill update as time progresses Needed 2 new tyres at £90 a go at 13k miles

re-rated. Just to clarify you bought this new? £22k or a year old or have you had 1 year? (p.s just read some of the other comments on this opinion -just thought incase anyone was reading rating an opinion is not linked to agreeing -its just how useful the opinion is and how much it would help a consumer, to me this is a helpful opinion.)
