Recommendable: Yes

Advantages All the attention, fun to drive, cheap to modify.

Disadvantages Rust, can be sore on petrol, suspension can be a little bouncy.

    Rover Mini Cooper 1.3i

Well I've owned my little 1.3i 97 Mini Cooper now for a year and a half and I love it to bits! Its the most fun you can have on four wheels and is a beauty to look at!

The handling is fantastic, you can take corners at faster speeds than any modern day car can, everything is nice and smooth, acceleration is nippy, it grips the road well and in general is a pleasure to drive!

The bad bits
Well they do rust like theres no tommorrow and all in the usual places such as headlights, Scuttle panel and A panels but these are easy to find and replace and relatively cheap, rather petroholic especially when driven hard, can be a bumpy ride, no power steering but its not really needed, pretty sore on oil.

The Good bits
Fantastic handling, relatively cheap parts, relatively cheap to modify, nice comfy interior with plenty of luxury, all the attention from driving such a well loved cool car, being able to be a part of the fantastic mini scene which gives rise to opportunity to me many like minded individuals and make many friends.
