...The Rowenta DM520 has got to be simply the best iron that I have ever owned. I paid £49.99 for it out of Curry’s a few months back, a little pricey you might say, but I can honestly admit, it is worth every single penny. This is the second Rowenta iron I’ve owned. The first lasted for 9½ years, and I’m positive would still be working today, if I my sister hadn’t knocked it off the ironing board onto the ceramic tiles on the kitchen floor. (However, I’ll give her credit where credit is due, she did buy me a replacement). However, it wasn’t a Rowenta, and it blew up after 2 months. But anyway, the thought was there, and I hate bearing grudges. Before I bought it, I did my research and checked prices etc, but I came to the conclusion that I’m better sticking to a brand that I’ve used... Read review

Befor ironing was a huge chore for me, but now it is my highlight of my day as I feel the iron sliding smoothly over my clothes like a swan gliding across a lake. ...Having killed my last iron (I managed to melt a fleece onto the soleplate!), it was time for an upgrade. My previous iron was also a Rowenta, a model down from this one. I had always been happy with the brand, so I decided to go for the DM825. My decision was helped by a recommendation by Which Extra in their best buy guide. The DM825 Professional Luxe Steam Iron (to use its full name), is a very good all round iron. It looks modern and attractive (I've had it about 5 months now and it still looks brand new). It's not too heavy and glides really well, which is a definite advantage as I now get the ironing finished much quicker than before, and I can honestly say the results are very good.
