Review of Malibu Rum

There's Only One Bacardi

Advantages: beautifully smooth drink
Disadvantages: tend to get cheap imitations in pubs - they taste awful

I was introduced to Bacardi because that was what my dad drank and my first taste at home was one of disgust the way most 14 year olds react at their first taste of real alcohol. Not that my parents let me drink loads or even drank in the house much themselves, but they did believe that part of the attraction is the unknown and this was a safe way of me trying a sip at a New Year party. My dad liked his with coke which may be why I wasn't very taken ...

I had it with lemonade and discovered I did actually like it. Why is the rum always gone?

Advantages: goes down well, not too strong

...am a rum drinker and Captain Morgans Spiced is definately in my top 3. I prefer spiced rum and the spices added to Captain Morgans give it a smooth, mellow flavour that is very hard to beat. Its great with coke or in a cocktail and is very drinkable. I find that it takes quite a lot before I feel the alcohol which is great if you'd like another drink, but for the inexperienced rum drinker, it can provide quite a hit. Advantages: tastes nice and spicey and quick lovely

I made this for my boyfriend because he loves spicey things so I though I'll do something he likes loads and he did so I just thought I'd share it with everyone else. Spiced lamb patties You will need: 2 crushed garlic cloves 2 tablespoons of garam masala 4 tablespoons of chopped coriander leaves 1 tablespoon of chopped mint 450g of minced lamb 1 egg beaten salt ground black pepper oil for brushing lemon wedges for garnishing For the sauce: 1 cucumber ...

Advantages: Cheaper than Bacardi
Disadvantages: Slightly too sweet.
