One you started, you won't stop

Advantages: Durability
Disadvantages: Can't Think

.../> I have been playing runescape for around 1 year now and I have really enjoyed it. I first noticed this game when my friend was playing it .it really intrigued me and I knew when I got home that I was going to play this myself. I have been playing for a year and now I am level 93 and I have worked really hard for this. It takes a lot of time and effort to be a successful player on runescape. Many of my friends have got a runescape account, it ...
...really competitive. Many think that runescape is the best game they have ever played. Not for the graphics or game play but the superior durability and the features.

Runescape is a game on the internet which anyone can play as it is free although you can pay around £2.50-£3.00 a month to be a member, it is better to be a member for many reasons. This game is definitely the best game you can get on the internet. The actual game is set ... more

RuneScape, my new fantastical addiction!

Advantages: Can keep me hooked for ages...
Disadvantages: Where do all the hours go?

...About the Fantasy ============== RuneScape is a single-player fantasy role play, something like a simplified version of the 'Final Fantasy' series. However I'd also describe it as being a bit like 'The Sims' as it centres on enhancing your personal skills, getting money and making on-line friends, as well as fighting dragons, unicorns and giant rats. RuneScape is a magical world with a huge mythology behind it and a massive world-wide following. ...
...visit. These are all identical but run on different servers from America to Amsterdam. Each can at the busiest times have over a thousand people on it. Because it is such a popular game I think it isn't going to pack up suddenly like other games do, which is bad if they are long-running, especially with the amount of time some people must spend on this game to get such high combat levels. I've been playing this game for a few weeks now and hope to ...

Where have my knights gone?

Advantages: Free online gaming
Disadvantages: Very addictive - could cause loss of sleep

I've been playing Runescape for quite some time now ... probably 10 months or so. I have played computer games for the last 23 years, ever since I had my first computer. Nothing could have prepared me for this game however. I still can't quite work out why I am so addicted to this game. It must be a combination of curiousity mixed with freedom to do what you want combined with the fact that you are playing amongst thousands of other players. If ...
...up skills along the way. Runescape has a certain magic that can keep you playing late (very late) into the night. Not everybody seems to get affected by this but I certainly have. Many a night I've crawled up to bed at 2 or 3 in the morning after a long Runescape session. The idea is that you will need to perform certain tasks in order to progress as a character in Runescape. You have total freedom over the way that you develop and you can spend ...

MMORPG that wont break the bank!

Advantages: Massively Multiplayer, Free to Play
Disadvantages: Can be repetative, full of immaturity

...what price. I found Runescape whilst searching for such a game, and to my surprise the entire game was FREE... required no special super-enhanced PC to run (it will run fairly well even on a 20 year old 486 computer) and was played entirely within the browser window. Sure at this initial stage the graphics werent fantastic, and some would say they still arent, but the British-based development team Jagex has done marvells creating what I think ...
...makes up the bulk of Runescape daily life as it gives you access to bigger and better things to make \ create and then sell. Yes, unlike many MMORPGS out there you can make yourself any of the necessary items in the game, from Armour and weapons to enhance your combat, to cooking to provide you with the means to stay alive Everything can be sold to other players for money, and as such the Runescape economy is fully-functioning. Sure you can remain ...

RuneScape - The Massive Online Adventure Game

Advantages: Fun, useful for fighting boredom!
Disadvantages: Immaturity

RuneScape - The Massive Online Adventure Game Generally I don't have a problem with game addiction and there are very few games that have actually eaten away at my hour's without including 'Halo' but I feel RuneScape have really succeeded into making there game an MMORPG (Massively Multi-playing Online Role Playing Game) the game not only has the 'helping newbie' factor so that people playing by them selves can understand the game it also has one ...
...complete and ego's to build RuneScape has it all. The players of RuneScape generally break the skills down into combat and non-combat skills, the levels in the combat skills contain: Attack Strength Defence Prayer Hit points Range Mage Only the skills above will increase the combat level you are. Attack: which is trained by Controlled fighting, gives you the ability to equip new weapons, from Bronze swords to Dragon swords, with also the ...

A great online adventure

Advantages: Great fun, easy to play and lots of things to do
Disadvantages: No aim to the game

...~What is Runescape~ Runescape is a 3D online environment, a world full of wizards, goblins, and imps. You design your own character and complete quests and skills to make the character stronger in order to be able to take on more powerful monsters and receive greater rewards. All the other characters that you come up against are other online users also playing like yourself, they are also trying to complete the same quests and collect the same items, ...
...learn the basics of what Runescape is all about. You must first design you character and there are a number to choose from. You can change the head, jaw, torso, arms, hands, legs and feet and then change the colour. Once you have your character you can start to learn how to play. A Runescape guide will talk you through everything that you need to know and how to do it. As you walk through you will realise that there are chests, cupboards, cabinets, ...
