Runescape is a very good online 3D game, it is browser based (Made with Java). You can play the game anywhere you like. (Using any browsers)
The unbelievable fact about Runescape: This game can be saved on a one MB floppy disc!!! This game is huge and endless, but it is only one megabyte, I heard that on the news.
This game can be played either free or paid. Both are fun, you get to explore more things.
The graphics are normal, OK. It is very old and basic. Fire is the shape of three red triangles, but after the release of the High-Detailed mode. The graphics are realistic and almost the same as other good paid to play games!
The sounds are alright, not really as bad as what other people would say, it’s just a classic.
The interface is as big the playing screen; there are a lot of options and things to do, in other means, it maybe obtrusive. There are no specific stories, just quests and unlock-able things. It wont be boring if you do PVP too.
All of the things are done with mouse clicks, easy for new users. You can change the view of your player using the arrow keys. Very simple! It is too easy to earn money on Runescape, therefore, the stuff are quiet expensive, and there are heaps of ways to buy Gold, which is prohibited, and will result in an account termination.
The membership only costs $5.95; you can buy it with many different ways. (Credit Card, Online Bank accounts, check, phone, general stores, SMS)
The game does not need a good network; a dial up network can play the game...
You can play the game with a 256 MB ram computer too!
For safety reasons, Runescape has no gore and blood effects, it is rated PG 8, and anyone can play it, no violent animations.
It has a thousand of hours of game play! Billions of players are on Runescape everyday! One last thing, this gets very addictive.
