The Russell Hobbs coffee grinder 10934 is chrome and black and looks very stylish in the kitchen. There is an adjusable grind control for cafetieres setting to espresso machines, this gives it's use greater scope. There is an electronic timer and this is is to judge how long to grind the many scoops of beans, and this is also dependent upon if you want a coarse or fine blend. The only disadvantage of the coffee grinder is the coffee bin (where the ground coffee beans end up) as this is too circular and is a bit of a fiddle to measure out your coffee into your scoop, and it causes a bit of a mess if you try and pour it into the scoop! After 8 months of daily use the grinder now produces very coarse coffee even on the finest setting. It has got noisier and noisier - needs to be held down so as not to wake the neighbours. On removing the hopper two plastic flanges had broken off and were nowhere to be seen - presumably ground with the beans!
