...I bought this kettle from one of the biggest electrical retailers, loved the design, hated the price, it was lightweight and easy to handle, as my 81 year old mother has arthritus.
After only 3-4 months of use, the on off switch snapped, it is made of very thin plastic with a ring on the end, this matches the ring on the lid. I think RussellHobbs should be aware that this on off switch is prone to snapping.
Please avoid this product at £39.99 it cost my pensioner mother over £10 a month for boiling water.
I need some really good glue as I lost the receipt and the shop will not refund or exchange. Beware buy this item and keep your receipt as the chances are you will need it.
