Russel Hobbs are often extremely well made and durable appliances however this is not the case with this product. I'll admit that this iron looks extremely stylish and well made, however it isnt. I personally dont own this product but I bought one for a Christmas present for my friend as a joke and she has being ranting on about it ever since. It has a dial which adjusts the heat for a variety of different textures of clothes such as silk, cotton ... ...heat setting it is on it still seems far too hot for the material. My friend has said that she has burnt more clothes that not with this iron. However the cord is extremely long which I suppose is an advantage (4metres) It doesnt though have a steam shoot which I thought was standard for any iron nowadays. Oh how I was wrong. It is though extremely light which handy I suppose. (I dont do the ironing...if you havent noticed) . I can say however that ... more

This iron has being dropped numerous times on solid tile floors and apart from a couple of mynute dints and scratches it is still as new. I suppose even thoigh it doesnt work well it still looks good and modern with its metalic effect. I wouldnt though advice this product to anyone overall. Not what is expected from Russel Hobbs.
