It was my mum that bought me this kettle by russell hobbs, nearly two years ago now when I moved into my first house. I think she paid around £25 for it in argos, and it is made of stainless steel, which went well with my toaster and other items in my kitchen. Since I have had it I have experienced no problems whatsoever with this kettle, and it is used several times a day everyday. It is so simple and easy to use, just fill up with water and flip the button down to heat up the water! Oh Dear! Having been bought this kettle for a Xmas pressie at first we were very pleased as it was stylish and went with our new kitchen. Then within in 2 months its stopped working - but went back and replaced it as it was under guarantee. Now 18 months later it started to leak from the base and the spout , the seals had gone! and it had to go. It always dribbled from the spout, which was annoying and needed cleaning all the time as it marked. It was quite noisy too - but most kettles are I suppose.
