Oh Dear! Having been bought this kettle for a Xmas pressie at first we were very pleased as it was stylish and went with our new kitchen. Then within in 2 months its stopped working - but went back and replaced it as it was under guarantee. Now 18 months later it started to leak from the base and the spout , the seals had gone! and it had to go. It always dribbled from the spout, which was annoying and needed cleaning all the time as it marked. It was quite noisy too - but most kettles are I suppose. Also the filter inside broke with in a year. Just very disappointed that a basic item such as a kettle didnt last longer. Have looked at reviews on other web sites and see Im not alone in thinking this is a poor quality item. Have just bought a cheap M&S one - still noisy - we will see how long this one lasts!
