Advantages Appears to be good quality!

Disadvantages I can't think of any yet...so far so good!

Russell Hobbs Food Collection Hand mixer:

I brought this Russell Hobbs hand mixer after the whisks attachments broke from my ASDA smart price one, which was £5.00 and lasted about a year. However, this time I thought I would invest a bit more money into a new hand mixer in the hope that it will last longer.

I am pretty sure that I paid around £10.00 for my hand mixer. I can't remember because it was about 6 months ago and I brought it online. I think this is good value for money, because it is defiantly a lot sturdier than the ASDA smart price one that I only paid £5.00 for, therefore I think it will last a lot longer. The whisks on this Russell Hobbs hand mixer are really sturdy and they appear to be really good quality. I have found this hand mixer to be comfortable to hold even when I am holding it while whisking for a long time. This hand mixer does not weigh that much, it does not feel that heavy when I am whisking.

I have had my hand mixer for about 6months now and there are no signs of wear and tear and I use my hand mixer on a weekly basis...to whisk cake mixtures, Yorkshire puddings, meringues...This hand mixer is powerful enough to mix up a meringues nice and quickly. (This usual takes a long time) Since having this hand mixer I have managed to make perfect meringues every time. I believe this is down to this mixer because it is really powerful and you can control the speed in which it mixes. There are six speed settings.

The whisks of this hand mixer clip in really easy to the handle, and they clip out by pressing the button down and holding on to them. They release really easy from the hand mixer, so there is no hassle trying to get the whisks out. The whisks are really easy to clean with a brush (one that you can buy to wash dishes).

This hand mixer has a longish cable that is long enough to reach a nearby socket, but not too long that it gets in the way when I am mixing. The cable never seems to get tangled, therefore there is no hassle of having to untangle it when about to use it. You just plug it into the socket, attach the whisks and it is ready to use.

I store my hand mixer in the box it came in and the hand mixer fits back it to the box nice and easy without any hassle, because there is plenty of room.

This hand mixer did come with instructions but it is so simple and easy to use, that I have never actually had to look at the instructions. However, I have just looked at them and they are really simple instructions that are easy to follow, so if you did have any trouble working out how to use it, the instructions will quickly tell you how.

I would recommend this Russell Hobbs hand mixer because it is very simple to use, because it only has one button and is excellent quality, so I can see it lasting me a good few years.

I would shop around for this hand mixer because pricey's can vary.

This hand mixer looks smart, and it white with a silver Russell Hobbs logo, and silver button.

I think you get you get what you pay for with this hand mixer, because its twice as much as the ASDA smart price one that I had previously but this Russell Hobbs one appears to be twice the quality of an ASDA smart price hand mixer.

Handy review but Im afraid Id have to avoid this since it has chrome beaters. Ive had to throw away perfectly good machines that have chrome simply for the fact that overtime, the chrome starts to flake off in food and they are never dishwasher safe.
