Advantages gets hot quickly

The Russell Hobbs 14993 iron is good.
I recently bought it after my other iron was getting a bit old and thought it was time for a new one. I saw this iron in Asda for a cheap price of £19.

About the Iron.
The Russell Hobbs 14993 2000W steam iron has got a 250ml capacity. This means you can hold a lot of water for a load of ironing so i have found its good you don't have to keep filling it up constantly. It provides a variable of 35g/min steam output and 90g/min shot of steam. The Iron tends to get very hot due to the amount of stream let off. I dont think too much steam is a bad thing you just have to be careful to turn down the dial when ironing clothes like silk. It also has a ceramic sole plate to ensure smooth ironing whilst also including anti-drip and anti-calc functions. The iron is available in Pink,Purple and and dark blue.
Putting water into the iron is very easy and to pour the remaining water out is also very easy to do.
Its has two buttons at the top of the iron which you can push down. One for steam the other for water.

The design.
The design of the iron is good and simple. It has a black and white handle and dial. The bottom of the iron near the surface is also black and white. In the middle of the iron where the water is visible its a transparent dark pink. Located near the front of the iron is a logo and then the writing press steam.
towards the bottom of the iron it has the Russell Hobbs logo and some symbols. These symbols include, Self clean, Vertical steam, No anti-drip, Burst of steam and easy slide sole plate. The power in watts of the iron is 2000w which is high.
The width of the iron is 13cm with a height of 16cm.

It varys from shop to shop on the price. It can range from £19-£30.
