Advantages Easy to handle

Disadvantages None

Review summary
This is an excellent value iron, and price wise i would say this is a champagne styled iron, but on a lemonade budget, and I would highly recommend it, I very impressed with my iron.

=Russell Hobbs Steamglide q5081 Steam Iron=

We have had this iron for about three years now and it is still going as good as the day we had it, so am very pleased on that aspect.

=Price=

It was on offer at Argos and I paid under £20 for it.

=The details=

The iron is a steam iron, and has a ceramic soleplate, the iron has a 2400W output, which does make the ironing smoother, and effortless, the iron is light to handle, but gives the impression of ironing with a heavy duty iron.

=Steam Function=

The steam function is optional to use on the iron, I find that i use the steam if I am ironing jeans or a collar and the buttons on a shirt. The steam shot is a 95g/minute shot, and this is quite powerful for a basic style iron. There is also a non-drip system built into the iron.

=Colour=

The c olour is a blue and white stripped effect, the water tank is clear blue, so you can see the water level in there.

=Cord=

It has a good strong cord on the iron and this is 2 metres long, so you can get comfy to iron. When you have finished with the iron, you can wrap the cord around the base of the handle.

=Additional Features=

The iron has a self clean facility, which keeps the iron clean and well maintained.

=Dial=

The dial on the iron is basic, and has 3 heat settings, these are clearly marked, from cool through to hot temperature, and just behind the dial is where the power light is, so that you can see clearly when the electricity is in use on the iron.

=Instructon Manuel=

The instruction booklet was comprehensive, easy to read and once read I was ready to be up and running.

=Would I recommend=

I would highly recommend this iron, it is a light iron to handle, but in terms of quality, I would say that it definitely punches above its weight, and you get the same features of an iron worth £50 or more.
