Russell Hobbs 3902 Satin

Advantages: easy to fill, looks great
Disadvantages: hot to touch, heavy and short lived

...I have always loved the style of Russell Hobbs small appliances and have the sandwich toaster and toaster in the same style. Howeve I have found you pay the price for style with this product as it is cheaply made with plastic coated chrome in some parts which has peeled off leaving an ugly kettle instead of a stylish one. Mine is also leaking from bottom of handle and the only good place for it is in the bin after only 18 months. Needless to say the warranty has expired. All other kettles including cheap ones have outlasted this lemon. No more Russell Hobbs products for me. Russell Hobbs products always stood for quality but not any more. Dont buy this kettle!!!... Advantages: Good quality, quick
Disadvantages: funny shaped spout

...With this item, Russell Hobbs further consolidate their good quality and high performance home appliances range. this item is quick, clean and easy to use, As an added advantage it is also well priced for comparable products. The water is quick to boil and easy to pour, one disadvantage I would say however would be its handle, a funny shape and can be a little difficult to hold when you are pouring it to empty. Russell Hobbs products are one of few items that look good in kitchens, stylish and smart looking and this is no exception, with the added consideration that it comes in different colours to match any kitchen setting. ...Just received my new kettle today as i purchased it from my next directory which you'll also find a review on from me. Well, up to now, what I can make of this kettle is that it's fantastic but who knows I may have problems in the future, I may not!! The Cordova kettle is one of many in the satin range by Russell Hobbs. It cost me £34.99 and up to now worth every penny. It doesn't seem to have a rapid boil system but looks great in my kitchen. It has a small round base that doesn't stand out a mile (looks like part of the actual jug), It has a stylish handle that almost looks like a door handle turned on its side lol. The only thing i find slightly frustrating is that the water indicator is under the handle but it doesn't cause as too much of a problem as you can feel how heavy it is when it's full.
