Advantages: Very funny in places
Disadvantages: Slow start

...We meet the main character, Ruth, at University, along with her friends Jess, Sophie and Sarah. Ruth gets dumped at her Graduation Ball, as her boyfriend wants to travel round the world. Ruth thinks its the end of the world and goes into hibernation for a long time. In the meantime, her best friends from University have moved down to London to live together and are having a great time. When Ruth picks herself up out of the doldrums, she decides to go and join them, but not to work and have a career like they're doing - oh no, she's on a mission to find a husband! What follows is an often hilarious story of Ruth's search for Mr Right. All the men she meets seem to have serious flaws to Ruth - whether it be drugs, or just the fact that they work as a pizza delivery boy! If you've ever been dumped yourself, you'll sympathise...
