...With 80 yards of 8 foot hedge, an elderly gardener and no time, something had to be done. The doctor gave me the answer, more exercise so I thought gardening.
I’ve used hedge cutters before, about 30 years ago, and we did buy a cordless Black & Decker about 5 years ago. But the answer is the Ryobi HT550 with its 500 watt motor, wide spread teeth and 24 inch double action blades it cuts hedges faster than a single person can bag up the cuttings. Light weight but powerful it may cost you more than some but it is a dream to use and easy to service with parts lists and exploded diagrams available on the WWW. Just keep it oiled and your hedges will delight you whether they are fine or coarse the Ryobi will cut, trim or reshape . I read a lot of reports and posted a lot queries and the Ryobi HT550 is the best at the money for the job....

Advantages: Looks great, fun for hamster, easy to clean and maintain. Disadvantages: Takes up a lot of room, less security and expensive.
...Originally, I had a bog-standard metal wire hamster cage with plastic bottom but my friend donated me a few bits and pieces of Rotastak caging that I decided to expand.
QUALITY
The cages are great quality and are heavy-duty plastic. Several times i dropped the caging and it never broke!
The fittings for the caging are sometimes a little off. The plugs have to be secured with metal wiring which I found was easily bent and not very reliable!
PRICE
The Rotastak caging and accessories, made by Armitage are very expensive although it is possible to buy them a lot cheaper online.
AVAILABILITY
Rotastak cages are available in every pet shop I have ever visited and are very popular online.
CLEANLINESS
The cages are easy to keep clean, I used to throw it all in the bath with some animal-friendly dienfectant and take...

Advantages: Good coverage of manufacturers and lots of pricing information Disadvantages: Explanation of some technical terms would have added value
...Its over two years now since I wrote a review on a Karcher pressure washer but I occasionally have a look at whats available and what I'm maybe missing! www.buyapressurewasher.co.uk is one of that growing band of comparison sites which takes the effort of searching around for information from different manufacturers and different suppliers (for pricing)
I have to admit that I didn't realise so many companies offered pressure washers. Theres the ineviatable Karcher, Ryobi, JCB, Bosch, Ebauer, Draper and Sealey listed on the site. It just goes to show there's a big market out there. Two names that caught my eye were JCB, famous for Mechanical diggers and Ryobi, which I had always associated with litho printing equipment. Maybe one company manufactures the washers and the rest just add their own brand covers. I wonder?
Anyway back...
