I recently recieved the Samtron74V as a gift for christmas. I ripped it out the box and plugged it str8 in. It was working after 3seconds out the box which i thought was brilliant.
It can display resoloution upto 1280 x 1024. The view is 500:1 which is higher than most TFT's.
In the box you get a power cable for europe and britain, a moniter cable and installation cd/manual.
My computer almost felt new, as i had moved from a 15CRT to 17TFT. The views were sharp, the moniter has its own self adjust system which resizes your view for you.
I know this is only a short review but there really isnt much to write. The moniter is excellent and was quite cheap as well, mine was bought from ebuyer for 145quid which i thought wasnt bad at all for a 17inch. I mean there is cheaper, but this was a samsung and had a 500:1 view rather ...

Advantages: Hard Wearing, Stays Cool, Never Fuzzy Disadvantages: Very Heavy, Bulky, Controls Hard To Use
After my dad ventured in to the Computers and Teaching profession, the family raised enough cash to be able to buy a computer. We were so pleased when my Dad arrived from a computer fair with everything needed for a complete home system.
He connected the motherboard, modem and multimedia cards and completed the main CPU within a couple of hours. Next came the monitor and sweet bejesus you should have seen the size of it.
It was a Samsung Samtron 75E, one of the newest models at the time. It had a 17" screen and looked perfect when placed with the rest of the computer, although there was one problem - it was fat!
The monitor was absolutely huge and was so bulky that, even me and my Dad, being strong people, had trouble lifting it into place. I mean, being a 17" screen you would expect it to be big but this was just ridiculous ...
