PDC WorldChampionship darts is a half reasonable attempt for a first shot at a licenced game on the PS2. However there are lots of things that put this game down that could well be improved. First off the carear mode it just lets you be one standard darts player. There is a vey limited customation for your player eg a few shirts and theme song you can choose from but nothing to get you excited. The graphic quality for the PS2 isnt up to scratch. The graphics resemble more the ps1 than anything else. The players movements are not smooth and fluent like they should be and they all have the same standard action. Commentry is very repetitive how many times sid says you couldnt swing a badger in here is unbelivable. The players themselves dont seem to show any emotion when throwing darts. I bought World rally championship from ebay as i have played this on my sisters playstation 2 and i thought it was a great game. I paid around £5 for the game and is one of my favourite games i have for my playstation 2.
You can choose from a selection of cars like peugeot, ford or a skoda there are several tracks to choose from monocco, Sweden or kenya. You can play in 2 player mode which can be a great way to play against friends. You can change how you see out of the car like if you just wanted to see the road or the road and the bonnet or the whole car.
Once you have chosen your car you can choos out of two people to drive the car and when you start the lap you can try and beat the lap time. As you go around the tracks the cars collect dust, mud and snow and even receive collision damage.

which are good but no other team has chants so it sounds a bit stupid to be honest.
Graphics: 9 Very nice graphics the best yet for a PS2 rugby game.
Sound: 3 Awful sound. The commentary is about the worst I've ever heard.
Gameplay: 7 It's very satisfying when you score a try although the scrums, rucks and mauls control system is frustrating.
Lifespan: 8 Considering the various tournaments on offer this could keep you going for a while.
WorldChampionship Rugby should satisfy any rugby fan with it's nice graphics and okay controls. As for the rest of us maybe your better off staying away from this one.
