...This gadget was at the top. No other PMP could compare with it. It has a brilliant screen quality, and can play many hours of AVI files stored on its hard drive. It has a loud speaker, and the biggest selling point is the ability to record TV. It comes with its own docking station, and is easy to use. It has a remote so that you can do everything with out having to move much (apart from moving to see the screen better!). The battery life is brilliant. I used it for a coach journey from London to Eastbourne and back, and it still had a lot of battery left. Although this PMP is quite fussy about which file types to play. Although this is sorted out because it comes with software to convert videos into the correct file type. Another advantage is that it has a Compact Flash Port. Disadvantages: Slightly Large?

...I was sceptical about buying the PMP 120 mainly because of its size. Now I have it I am glad I did buy it. I have tried many other MP3/MP4 players but this one is by far the best. Great sound and picture quality. Connects to media player easily but can also be used for drag and drop. The buttons are arranged around the large screen well so you can use it without even looking. The screen is just the right size for watching movies compared to the likes off the iPods and other such smaller players. Also it is great for displaying photos (when you go and see relatives!) instead of taking your camera or even printing them off. ...I love my iriver pmp 120, I also hate my iriver pmp 120 at the same time. First of all i will do the bad points to get them out of the way, it is very tricky to navigate with a thoroughly confusing menu system, which will leave you learning the basics and not bothering to get to grips with the more technical aspects, which is irritating as i know there are more things i could do with this, but choose not to. There is a general lack of support for media player, which is annoying as syncronisation with that would be much easier. This leaves the options of the unwieldy iriver software, or copy and pasting through my computer, the method i use most often. I have noticed a few bugs in mine, it sometimes skips a bit when kept in my pocket - i though mp3 players were supposed to be jogproof!!! Audio - good audio quality through headphones... Read review
