Colour Adapt Foundation?

Advantages: good pump on bottle to aid application, long ;asting
Disadvantages: hard to blend, quite thick

I went for a Max Factor Foundation as I knew the brand as was intrigued by the 'colour adapt' part of the labelling. As I had previously found it hard to find a foundation that matched and complemented my skin tone (I'm fairly pale in skin colour), this appealled to me as I'm always keen to avoid that over made up look. The bottle looked good, with a pump for easy application. I went for one of the paler shades, that looked to match my skin tone fairly well. The foundation itself was actually a lot thicker than I was used too, and quite powdery. I thought that this would be good as it would avoid the greasy look that some foundations had given me in the past after a few hours wear, The thickness of the foundation meant that I actually found it pretty hard to apply. It was difficult to judge the reight amount that would give me ...

Review of Max Factor Colour adapt Foundation

Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation

Advantages: Evens skin tone, looks quite natural, a little goes a long way
Disadvantages: Caused me to break out, encouraged oilyness, didn't stay on amazingly long

counter. I told her my budget, what my skin tends to be like, how much coverage I wanted and how often I'd be using foundation. For those who'd like to know (and I already explained my skin at the beginning), it went something like this: - £10-£15 Budget. - Medium to full coverage. - I use foundation practically every day. She recommended Max Factor Colour Adapt, it was around £11 and she happily went into detail about it. It has no SPF but you can easily sort that out by using moisturiser first, it's quite a liquidy consistancy and you only need to use a pea sized amount, it sets almost powder like. Sounded great to me, so I went ahead and got it. So, Amy, what was it like? Well, Ciao, I've been using this for around 2 weeks now and it definitely evened out my skin tone; even brought a bit more colour to my face without it looking ...
