SMC's EZ Stack 10 hub is stackable, segmentable and manageable. These features make it the ideal choice for growing 10BASE-T Ethernet networks. This 16-port rack-mountable hub can be used standalone for small workgroups or stacked ten high with up to 100 m of cable to build a single logical hub that is scalable to 160 ports. For further expansion, there's an additional BNC port on the rear panel for connection to a thin coax backbone or other device. And, this port can be replaced by a slide-in module with a fiber port to support increased distances, or an AUI port for added flexibility. To increase network bandwidth and improve traffic load-sharing, the stack can be segmented into up to three collision domains. Individual hubs can also be isolated from the stack. And, to interconnect the segments, the stack can be topped by a switch, such as one of SMC's EZ Switch models. The EZ Stack 10 hub is equipped with a comprehensive array of LEDs to display network and system status. And, for SNMP management, an EZ Stack 10 intelligent hub can be added to the stack. This hub includes an SNMP agent and an RS-232 serial port, so it can provide both in-band and out-of-band management capabilities, as well as fault-tolerant features, including support for up to three redundant links and a backup SNMP agent.
Advantages: Easy to set up, Great sound quality, Easy to use Disadvantages: None, but its pricey for what it is
...This is a great product, however I would not recommend it if you frequently use your laptop whilst travelling. I would however recommend this laptop to those who have laptops at home. This is a great way to store your laptop. I found it easy to attach and quick to set up with no problems at all. The sound quality is great and I found it to be good overall. However this to me seems a more specialist product and the expansion base doesn't really offer anything outstanding. Sure it is a great product if you have the money to buy it, but I dont see it as particularly necessary for the laptop, it really is a glorified speaker system, but is one of those things thats clever but not necessarily required for your laptop.
DETAILS: Speakers are great quality.
Base itself is durable and feels quality...

...I bought this router from Amazon just before Christmas, taking around six weeks to arrive. They said it would take one to two weeks to dispatch, and now I know why...
INITIAL REACTION
On arrival it was evident that the product was meant for another country, as the manual and instructions were in another (European) language. However, the basic manual (and nothing else) was available in English on an included CD. The package also came with an odd beige device that takes RJ-11 cables.
The important thing, however, is how this thing works.
HOW THIS THING WORKS
The SMC7904BRA is a ADSL2+ broadband router and modem in one. ADSL2+ basically means it supports broadband connections faster than 2Mb - normal ADSL routers and modems can't go any faster.
It's a four port router, which means, if you want to share a broadband connection...

...The Belkin 4 port USB hub is the ideal way to add additional usb ports to your computer. It plugs into 1 usb slot on your machine, and gives you 4 new ports. With it's own power supply, it can provide proper 500 mA per port power, and each port comes with it's own overload setting. As USB becomes more and more popular, this is an easy expansion method, enabling you to chain up to 127 devices together. Although a little bit more expensive than some rivals, it not only looks stylish, but can be linked together with the Busstation to give you lots of different component options. Installation was easy, as windows picks it up straight away and uses it's own drivers....
