Advantages: It's free, delivery confirmation Disadvantages: lots of adverts, wait up to 10mins for some messages CBF stands for CardBoard Fish and is a website that offers a free worldwide SMS (text messaging) service. DooYoo Advantages: Its great to be able to get your own opinion out there on products! Disadvantages: Some people! I joined DooYoo a few months ago when I found it on MoneySaving Expert. I'll be honest my first thought was I need the money, as I'm sure alot of people on there (if they're honest with you and themselves) thought. The fact you could get paid for writing reviews on the things you had for other people to read I thought was great. Free sms on the web 100 per month Advantages: Save 10p for each message you send Disadvantages: Limited to 100 free sms per month >>> Background I have used O2 (genie) for well over a year and has to be the best way of sending SMS from the net. Even though they placed the limitation to 100 free every month, it still isn’t bad. A recent update to their site now enables you to send 316 characters spread over a maximum of 3 sms's in one go and can also send the same message to multiple people simply by adding a comma after the name or number. Dont bother joining Advantages: Get free texts for a month Disadvantages: Always sending you texts on your phone which cost you..when you cancel your account the texts dont stop They are always sending you spam emails which can be annoying...and when you cancel your account you still recieve texts on your phone which you are paying for..!! o2 Genie Card / Talk Alot Advantages: Saving Money Disadvantages: None! ...not a review on the o2 website sms service, but for o2 sim card sms service. I was always on Vodafone and never thought i would change untill...an o2 operator phoned me and told me about the 'Genie Card' costing 10 pounds each, though at that time there was an offer of 'buy one get one free' so i bought them and give one to a friend. What is a genie Sim Card?: Many of you may know this by 'o2 Talk alot' . The Genie tarrif consists of 300 free ... ...WAP per month. You only get this by topping up your phone with 10 pounds each month. Some people have trouble understanding this! so for example, you get you 'Genie Card' on the 13th of November, you put 10 pounds in your phone on the 13th, your tarrif thens starts from the 14th.
