I use CardboardFish SMS all the time! Advantages: Completely free, great if you've run out of credit Disadvantages: May not be 100% reliable, you can only send short messages ...the site's logo, just saying CBFSMS.com (stands for Cardboard Fish SMS if anyone is wondering!), and underneath (overlooking the adverts of course) is a line of options, including 'Send Message', 'Confirmation', 'Replies', 'FAQ', 'System Status', 'Abuse' and 'Contact Us'...all the general pages you'd find on a website. The gist of the website is that you can send text messages for free to any UK network, or if you click on their linked website Fish ... ...out. When you type CBFSMS.com into a URL bar/search engine, you are brought immediately to the Send Message page. As I said before, this consists of the logo, links, adverts, and if you scroll a little further down the page there is are some message boxes. The top box you are probed to insert the number you wish to send a text to, and in the bigger box below you type your text. You are limited to 137 characters per text, which isn't a lot, given ... Dooyoo or don't you? Advantages: It's fun, informative and earns you pennies Disadvantages: A lot of items aren't available to review Hello everyone my name is Cher and I am a Dooyoo addict! There, I have admitted it. I joined Dooyoo less than 2 weeks ago after seeing it mentioned, on Martin Lewis Money Man website. He does sell it as a quick and simple way to make money, which was my immediate interest. ON signing up and reading that all I had to do was write a review of at least 150 words I did laugh to myself at how easy this all sounded. I wrote my first review which just squeezed ... ...what the content of my review was. I did have some feed back on this review from other members explaining that writing reviews was more than just writing 150. I will confess, at the time such comments got my back up, after all what did I care, I was in it for the money that's all. Dont bother joining Advantages: Get free texts for a month Disadvantages: Always sending you texts on your phone which cost you..when you cancel your account the texts dont stop They are always sending you spam emails which can be annoying...and when you cancel your account you still recieve texts on your phone which you are paying for..!! All they do is take your money..DONT join..you would be better off texting from a phone...If you wanted to make friends then it would be good for you.. ...... .... .. ..... ... .... .. ... .. ....... ... . ..... ... ..... ...... Free sms on the web 100 per month Advantages: Save 10p for each message you send Disadvantages: Limited to 100 free sms per month >>> Background I have used O2 (genie) for well over a year and has to be the best way of sending SMS from the net. Even though they placed the limitation to 100 free every month, it still isn’t bad. A recent update to their site now enables you to send 316 characters spread over a maximum of 3 sms's in one go and can also send the same message to multiple people simply by adding a comma after the name or number. You have a dedicated address book ... ...thus speeding up sending the messages. >>> The Service Messages are received almost instantaneous, however these can sometimes be delayed but not for too long. Freebie messaging from lycos` Advantages: Easy Free messaging Disadvantages: limits ...all know its here. Free lycos messaging. Whenever your credit seems low or you canot be bothered, visit lycos messaging and sign up. becuase its simple and easy to use and i think everyone should use it. Its also save your fingers pressing the keys a few times for one letter, texting is now easier and free.
