The game

This is yet another classic game that has been out since I can remember and it never seem to tires. The game can be very competative and addicting but some may also find it boring, I think its each to their own on what type of games they like.

On the start up screen you have four options.

Play

This will just take you to the game, you do however get a pop you telling you that you can change the controls in the settings screen at the start up.

Scoreboard

This tells you the list if your highscores.

Help

This tells you all the information you need to know about how to play the game.

Settings

This gives you the option to change how you control you ship, by either using the touch screen pad or some buttons that you can push at the sides. Also you can turn the sound on or off in here too.

How to play

At the start of the game you get altogether 3 ships to use, you also have 3 rock type things that will protect yiou for a while and you can hide under them, however these will soon disappear as they get hit by bullets from the invaders.

You need to shoot at the invaders and try to kill them all to complete each level before you lose all your ships, once you get hit twice its game over and you will have to start again.

To use the ship using the side bar you just click the left and right buttons at each side to move left and right then above each of them they are both fire buttons to shoot at the aliens.

Myself I prefer the touchscreen as they call it but they are really just the same as having controls on your screen, they are just a little smaller and more closer together, you haver the ;eft and right button on the left hand side, then the fire button on the right hand side. I found it easier to move my ship around by using these controls.

My overall opinion

The game is pretty good but I did find this getting boring after a few levels, this is yet another game though that my kids do love, so maybe it is more of a kids game as they have never tired of it.

I have found though I can not really play this with the kids, as each game takes too long to play so I would just sit there ages waiting to play. But yes I did enjoy this game for a while but it is not one I would pay for.
