Advantages: Online functions on games are now useful. Loads of extras on live. Its not just about the games! Disadvantages: Game add-ons and expansions are pricey. The avatar marketplace is just blatant money grabbing.
If you have never tried Xbox Live before, or even if you have in the past. It is definitely time to try it now. At only £40 a year you unleash the other half of your Xbox experience. If you have a internet connection and multiplayer orientated games, then its a shame not too as you are missing out on a large bulk of the game. Also most new games come with a 48 hour trial code.
The setup of Xbox Live is fairly straight forward. If all the connections are ok then you can connect to an Xbox Live Silver membership, (you will have to purchase Xbox Live Gold in order to use multiplayer functions in games, amongst others).
If you do purchase a gold membership you enter into a vast array of options to enhance your console and your gaming experience. These vary from buying arcade games, for example Sonic 2, or full titles from the games ...
Advantages: A good central conceit. Disadvantages: The satire isn't strong enough, the comic timing is off and it is miscast.
and rub shoulders with celebrities. The opening voice-over narration about how he always saw stars as better than everyone feels clumsy. We also don't see enough of his rise to prominence once he's decided to play the game - the whole kit and caboodle is summed up in a single montage that stops us feeling for the character.

Some sharper editing would have made them far punchier. The slapstick is poorly accomplished, mainly because it isn't harsh enough. There is also some crucial miscasting; the central pairing doesn't work because there isn't enough chemistry between them, making it impossible to root for them to get together. As a result, the movie feels overlong at a hundred ...
Advantages: Kirsten Dunst, Simon Pegg in his element, some very funny moments Disadvantages: Won't appeal to everyone
it. Simon Pegg really impressed me in his role as the plucky, yet unfortunate journalist. He plays his role very well and shows that he is capable of playing a somewhat serious role instead of the numerous spoofs that he?s appeared in previously. The character he played in this film however is distinctly similar to the character he played in Run Fat Boy Run, as a hapless yet kind hearted guy who just wants a break. Regardless of whether we may have witnessed Pegg in a similar role previously he does portray Sidney very well and gets the audience on side immediately with his ?I don?t care what people think? attitude.
Pegg?s female counterpart is played by Kirsten Dunst, I?mnot a huge fan of her either what with her miscast appearances in the Spiderman franchise however she?s actually extremely good in this film and was on of the most ...
