The B8 series is probably the most popular starting cymbal setup, due to its massive variety and great sound quality to price ratio. for around £130, you could have a hi-hat, crash and ride setup, superior in ... ...good, yet stunningly expensive cymbals, Sabian have maintained their focus on all ranges, including that of the beginner. This attention can clearly be seen in the B8 range, when compared with it's rivals, the Paiste 302 plus series and the Zildjian ZBT range.

Advantages: Cheap way of getting a top name on your kit Disadvantages: Cymbals not worthy of the name - aweful sound

... ...The sound quality is awful. I know that when you are purchasing an entirely new set of cymbals, it can work out quite expensive, but I really would stretch your budget that little bit extra and go for the B8 pro (see my review). These are a little pricier, but are infinitely better.
Don’t buy these cymbals unless you really are strapped for cash. ...
