...These little machines are so good that I decided to buy a second one. They are one of the most efficient guitars tuners around. I always reccomend them to both beginner and advanced guitarsits. They are so simple that they completely take care of the tuning process.
Design:
This is partly what attracts me to KORG tuners. The design of the CA-30, like the GA-30 bass tuner and the MA30 metronome, is very simple and sturdy. The face is slightly bigger than a credit card and it's width is less than 1cm. This small and light wieght build makes it very easy to slip into your pocket when you go out. The plastic is also very stong so it doesn't have the cheapish feel that some tuners have. The buttons and the display are spaced out well so it is very easy to understand when you've had a few beers. The only difference in design between...

Advantages: Cheap, Big Display, Robust Disadvantages: Goes Through Battery's Slightly Fast But Nothing Major!!!!
...Hi Dudes!!!
The best tuner ever, forget your rack gear and pro audio nonsense, this is definatly the best tuning pedal there is.
You can run this pedal through your effects loops or run it straight thrpugh into your amp either way works fine. The stomp action allows you to by-pass the tuner when not using and retain your sound with no differennce but when you press it down to tune it cuts of sound coming from your ampliphier so people in the pub dont have to listen to you tune!!!
It has a bright and very easy to understand display allowing you to tunechromaticly a bass guitar electric guitar and them a semitone or tone below the standard "E" tuning. it can also show string nunbers if you wish to use it this way!!
A definate buy!!!
Peace!!!...

Advantages: Great variety of effects, and easy to operate. Disadvantages: There's now a Zoom 707 II!
...with this simple pursuit. You are meant to be able to sample riff from other songs and practice over them, or even slow them down - but I have never tried this feature and cannot really say anything about it. I use the computer to do this - it doesn't look too hard to do though. You just plug the CD or tape player into the back!
The box also comes with 46 built in drum beats for you to play along to. They are pretty simple affairs, but incredibly useful - especially the metronomes - for practicing different rhythms, time signatures and so forth. Easy to use, easy to change tempo and, though basically just a freebie, quite useful. It is a shame though that you cannot use the drum patterns at the same time as the sampling function.
The chromatictuner is very useful indeed. The bright lights are easy to read even when gigging, and the tuner can...

Every gigging musician needs to own one of these.
I work as a sound engineer in various venues, and I can immediately guage the quality of a band on whether or not they have TU2's (or similair pedal tuners).
The Boss TU2 provides a quick,... more
