Advantages Advantages Great story, good acting and sound, very atmospheric, just fun all round

Disadvantages Disadvantages Gaming style is a little dated, 3 is better

The Gabriel Knight series of adventure games has always ensured a decent gaming experience for the adventure game fan. The superb storylines by Jane Jensen are second to none in the genre, the graphics and gameplay of a high standard and all in all Sierra seems to put a lot of work into bringing another great adventure game to the PC market. Each addition to the series also improves greatly upon the last, the themes remaining the same but the aesthetics evolving to meet the desires of the contemporary gamer. In short, these are great games and if you love adventure games, then the series ought ... more

Advantages Advantages Nice playing with real images. Excellent story. Incredible adventure essence.

Disadvantages Disadvantages A little bit linear. Some voice recordings could be done better.

Sierra On-Line is known world wide for a large number of great releases and huge dedication to its games, specially the Graphic Adventures. This company has constantly changed since its existence. A change visible not only in the direction branch (done by Ken Williams and Roberta Williams), but also in the style of games done along the time! The story is an absorbing one concerning werewolves and has supernatural elements. The acting is brilliant and watching the game unfold is like watching a good film, except that you feel that you are controlling the order of events. Set in Germany, the game builds on the knowledge learned in the first game - Gabrielle is now living in the castle he has inherited, and is writing his next novel when he is drawn into the mystery of the ... more

    Advantages Advantages Very, very thrill

    Disadvantages Disadvantages No

The third part unlike previous two is completely 3D also it is possible to move on city practically in any direction. But it was made rather funny. Instead of going directly by Gabriel with a view from his eye you are offered to be his shadow. You freely move as ghost while Gabriel stands like statue in the certain place. You quietly can run in the room or even to move in other end of the street, while your hero will look at all this. And only when you want to open a door, to use any item or to talk to the characters Gabriel will approach and will begin to execute all this. The general game ... more
