i have 2 windows in my house that arent yet double glazed so i got on the web after seeing the BOGOF advert on tv. i filled in a quick on line form requesting a representative to give me a call back. no sooner had i clicked on the 'submit' icon the phone rang. They told me they have a rep imy area and asked if 7 pm would be ok. 'Great' i thought. so far i was impressed with the quick response and the politeness of the gentleman on the phone who arranged the appointment. the rep arrived on time to give us our no obligation quote on 2 windows. he gave a very detailed demonstration of the windows on offer. The rep began to repeat himself after about an hour.At this point i was getting fed up, my baby was getting fed up. this guy was taking uo the whole room with all his luggage so had no where for the baby to play.(he asked me about my labour at one point, which i felt was very inappropriate conversation to have with a stranger) By 8.30pm the rep took it upon himself to measure ALL the windows in the house. He rabbitted on for another hour repeating himself and telling us what a good deal we were getting even though at this point he had given us no price. (at this point i was so fed up, i went for a bath and left my husband with the rep).came back to find he was still here. we got the price 2,500 for 5 small windows. i was totally mad that this bloke had taken up our evening, it appeared that he wasnt going to leave until we had signed up. he asked some rather probing questions about our income and spent another half hour filling in forms. he had me write out a cheque before he finally left at 10.35! I spent the next day cancelling cheques, finance agreements, window contract etc. i would definately not recommend safestyle uk after the episode i had to go through with this rude man.
