I was given a bath set when I was expecting my daughter I only managed to use it twice as my daughter hated it and wriggled so much it was impossible for me to wash her. I looked into the foam bath... more

Advantages Advantages Safe and easy way to bathe babies

    Disadvantages Disadvantages No padding

I purchased the Safety 1st Bath Seat for my child when she was about 6 months old and had just learnt to sit up by herself. It was an awkward and stressful time for bathing. Too big for baby tubs and bath supports, too small and unsteady to sit in the bath alone. What to do!? Argh... Then I came across the Safety 1st Bath Seat. The seat was already set up and ready to go (except for the small toy on the front which takes about 30 seconds to clip on). The seat has sides all around so the child cannot fall out or slip under. It also encourages the child to sit up in the bath themselves and to ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap, compact, allows baby to sit up straight

Disadvantages Disadvantages Pointless toy, suckers not strong

Bathing a baby can be difficult! Once they have outgrown a baby bath, then a baby bath chair.. what next? Now our son is at the crawling and standing up stage, bathing was a nightmare so our next investment was the Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat. What is it?? The seat is blue and sturdy with suckers on the base and a coloured toy on the front. My son has never played with the toy, and in my opinion is very boring. The seat also swivels round so this is a plus for nosy babies! The seat is circular and smooth so no risk of accidents. Price This bath seat is a lot cheaper than other seats on the ... more

Advantages Advantages It stops baby from slipping underwater during bathtime.

Disadvantages Disadvantages The bar in between a boys legs could be pretty uncomfortable.

I was given this by a friend who had previously used it for her baby daughter. However, her daughter had grown too big for it which is why she passed it onto me. My son was around 5 months old at the time and we thought it was time to start bathing him in our bath. The safety first bath seat is blue with a swivel base and toys for your child to play with across the front of it. There is a bar which goes downwards to the base of the seat and the child sits inside with their legs at either side. My son absolutely hates baths and I found that this bar could be very uncomfortable for him as he ... more

Advantages Advantages A safe way to bath baby, Swivel base, Sturdy design, Fun for baby

Disadvantages Disadvantages Toy is boring, can be uncomfortable until baby can sit properly

We were having trouble bathing our baby daughter in the baby bath. She was too young to sit unsupported but too long for the baby bath. It ended up with her slipping all over the place and wasnt a very nice experience for her. We decided to try her in the 'big' bath but to do that we needed some kind of device to help us. The Safety First Baby Bath Seat fitted the criteria and so we bought it. I think the price was around £9.99 which I thought was reasonable. The seat is blue and sturdy with strong suckers on the base and a coloured toy on the front that our daughter noticed once and then has ... more

Advantages Advantages Baby feels safe, good name you can trust

Disadvantages Disadvantages Toy is boring, no choice in designs

Why did I need a bath seat? This is kayleigh's forth bathing devise at the grand age of 14 months. Before she was born I bought a lovely Winnie The Pooh inflatable bath, for about £15. I had the lovely idea that I could just inflate and deflate as I needed it so that the bathroom would still look vaguely adult, unlike every other room being overridden by baby swings, crib, moses basket, gym, playmats, need I go on. Anyway, out popped by first child, Kayleigh, born on my birthday - Yippee, and she was so tiny there was no way I could put her in this huge inflatable boat so I washed her in a ... more
